June 29th, 2008 I fell in love with it at first sight. I knew this love has been with me all along, never for once diminished or gone. Not even living in the city most of the time can take away this deep love and what a sweet surprise it was that it is now close to me. I have another love relationship now besides my marriage.
From my balcony at home, I can see the lush greenery facing me. I love it whenever it rains, because the air will be exceptionally cooling and I can smell a dewy scent coming from those trees that is always refreshing and invigorating.

The park is the exact reason why my hubby and I decided to buy our flat. I fell in love with the greenery at first sight, and I knew I had to live in this neighbourhood.
I can hear birds chirping away, singing a song of melodious finery. I know, they must be chatting to each other, and I won’t be able to understand. But their language sounds so beautiful that one can’t resist to tune in and listen.
The trees are evergreen, and for this I am truly appreciative and thankful for. This means that I’ll always be treated to a sumptuous feast of green that not helps me to relax my body and mind, it is also a great source of inspiration in my life and for my work.
It gives me peace. And I find myself transmitting thoughts very regularly with the trees. Whether I am stuck with my writing, or unable to make sense of certain situations in life or work, I’ll talk to them. Yes, I may sound like a nut to you now, but I really do that.
At times I speak out loud. Other times I stare at them lovingly. Or I’ll just send thoughts to them.
In return, the trees sway to the gentle of the breeze or sparkle in the brightness of the sun as they talk back to me in their own way. Their own style.
Do you enjoy nature and greenery as much as I do?
